Hi im Laura with CHOP+STEM. I’m so excited at the chance to start planning your wedding florals and/or bar!
It’s always such an honor to be part of such an important moment in someone’s life. It’s incredibly important to me that your personal vision, personalities, and style shine through in the flowers and overall feel of your day. This is a love story about you and your partner. Your wedding should reflect the two of you first and foremost.
Working with couples to create their dream wedding is truly one of my favorite parts of what I do. At CHOP+STEM, we approach every event with creativity and flexibility. Our goal is to find thoughtful ways to bring your vision to life within your budget (within reason, of course).
Instead of rigid stem counts or cookie-cutter pricing, we focus on the overall vibe and atmosphere you’re going for, using intentional design choices and locally sourced blooms to make it happen. There’s no reason to settle or lower expectations when something can be created to scale. That’s something I really strive for in my work.
We grow many of our own flowers, source from nearby farms whenever we can and source additional blooms from local family-owned, mom-and-pop wholesalers, as well as forage wild seasonal elements from our land and surrounding woods, which keeps each wedding feeling personal, natural, and one-of-a-kind.
On the Vardo side, we bring that same heart into our mobile bar service offering farm-to-glass cocktails and seasonal drinks made with ingredients we grow, forage, or source locally. Our bar staff is warm, professional, and helps create the fun, welcoming environment every wedding aims for. It’s all about celebrating your day with intention, creativity, and connection.
I’ll be sending over our price list as a guideline for average ranges so you have a sense of what’s typical. From there, we can always shape things around your specific priorities. We don’t design like traditional florists , our passion outweighs the transaction and you truly can have your cake and eat it too with us.

CHOP+STEM is a Blue Ridge based floral design studio specializing in seasonal, story-driven wedding florals. We grow many of the flowers we use, forage natural elements from our land, and source additional blooms from local family-owned, mom-and-pop wholesalers we value deeply. As we continue to grow, pivotal steps this coming year will expand more of our in-house production allowing us to become even more farm-driven and design-forward. Alongside florals, our mobile bar service, Vardo, offers a farm-to-glass cocktail experience built around seasonal ingredients, thoughtful menus, and warm, professional hospitality.
