Zinnias have been brightening my early fall days with their cheerful colors, but now the garden is slowly beginning to wind down. Even the earth needs a season of rest. It feels lovely to slow down a little, even though there’s still plenty of work to do to prepare the garden for winter!

Head over heels smitten with baby Forest.
Just a few little snippets from our first days together, and from his beautiful baby shower. It’s hard to believe how much has already happened in such a short time!
Already making the most wonderful memories to treasure and looking forward to be there for all the milestones to come.

Have you ever seen a white spider? This beautiful flower crab spider looks almost like a little jewel nestled in our dahlias. And here’s the fascinating part: flower crab spiders don’t build webs. Instead, they patiently wait on flowers and ambush insects as they land.
Nature really does have the most unexpected little characters!

I love when all your senses get tingled: the flowers and the beautifully curated products, the fragrance, the gentle sound of water and music we play in the boutique - every little detail comes together.

Haven’t we been spoiled with this gorgeous weather?
I’ve been soaking up the sunshine, along with plenty of cuddles from someone very special and tiny lately - and I couldn’t be happier.

There is some wonderful news in my family, and in the midst of it all, I find myself entering this season with a full heart and so much love and gratitude. Wishing you all a wonderful day, wherever it finds you!

I’d like to invite you to take a little time for yourself and the Exquisite Blumen boutique.
Browse the flowers, discover a new favorite piece, pick up a gift for someone special, or simply stop by for a chat with our lovely boutique team.
They know all the little treasures around the shop and might just point you toward something you hadn’t noticed before.

How are your hydrangeas doing?
So grateful to admire these stunning flowers in bloom. An enduring highlight of the September garden, their large flowerheads take on such beautiful, rich autumnal shades as the season changes.
And while it can be tempting to tidy everything up, I’m happy to leave these beauties exactly where they are a little longer. Sometimes the garden knows best.

Still hard at work in the fall garden.
The bees don’t seem quite ready to call it a season yet, happily making their rounds through the flowers.
