We had so much fun creating this picnic! The idea had been in my mind since I visited the Amalfi Coast, where lemons are everywhere. Yellow also happens to be a trending color right now (what a coincidence!), and when told me she wanted her event to have a French Riviera theme, I immediately knew it would be the perfect match.
I had a clear vision from the start:
* Lemons as mini “bud vases” for single stems
* Pearls to bring in elegance, moving away from the rustic/boho vibe that’s been popular in the picnic scene
* Ribbed glassware
* A French toile vases (which btw I made myself, using just paper napkins, white ceramic vases and glue)
* Deep blue napkins (almost Dior blue—so hard to find!)
* Trendy floral plates
* And lots of flowers (grateful we caught the end of peony season!)
It makes me so happy to see the surprised faces of our clients—their joy is like honey to my soul. Thank you for such a wonderful day!
