When the remnants of Hurricane Isaias brought steady rain this past Sunday, our bride was deeply missing her late sister and father. With her father being a meteorologist in heaven, she was completely at peace with the weather. He sent a hurricane on her wedding day just to show he would do anything to be there.

With their photos close to her heart, she fully embraced the moody day. We brought the romance indoors, transforming The Barn at Silverstone into a cozy, candlelit autumn dream filled with rich fall florals.

On 10.10.15, we said our own vows and officially started this wild, beautiful journey. Eleven years later, I look at Nick, our boys Mason and Blake, and this incredible property we poured our hearts into, and I am just overwhelmed with gratitude. What started as our own love story has blossomed into a legacy of hosting hundreds of others at The Barn at Silverstone.

Restoring a historic barn into an award-winning venue and being nationally televised on Bloomberg TV as the ‘World’s Greatest’ while raising a family takes a lot of late nights, endless hard work, and so much love. But the real magic is in the people who fill this space.

To our past couples who trusted us with their first day of marriage: thank you for leaving a piece of your history within these stone walls. To our future couples: we are so honored to bring your dreams to life. And to the amazingly talented vendor teams who show up and create pure magic every single weekend: we truly could not do this without you.
