❤️✨ Business Announcement Regarding Nonprofits/Donated Work ✨❤️
I feel like I need to address this because of the amount of messages and requests I’ve been receiving lately regarding donated balloon setups and heavily discounted event work.
This post is not directed at any one person or organization at all 🤍 I’ve just been getting these requests more frequently lately and wanted to share some perspective as a small business owner and artist.
I think a lot of people don’t realize how much time, labor, planning, setup, teardown, travel, and material cost goes into custom balloon installations.
When hiring a balloon artist, you’re not just paying for balloons - you’re investing in creativity, design, experience, and artistic vision. Every setup is custom designed, planned out, built by hand, and brought to life from an idea.
While I truly wish I could say yes to every nonprofit, school, and community event that reaches out, the reality is that these events often require me to give up weekends, purchase inventory, and spend hours designing and installing large displays.
As my business continues to grow, I’ve had to become more intentional about what I can realistically take on for free or at heavily discounted pricing. I will still occasionally offer community pricing or donations when I’m able to, but moving forward it has to make sense for my business, my time, my family, and the value of the work being provided as well.
I also completely understand that custom balloon work is not always in everyone’s budget - and that is okay 🤍 There are so many great DIY options available now, and I genuinely encourage people to go that route if hiring an artist doesn’t financially make sense for their event.
There is never an obligation to hire a balloon artist for an event, which is exactly why I’m incredibly grateful every single time someone chooses me and trusts me with their vision 🤍 But if you love a specific artist’s work enough to reach out, please also understand that their creativity, talent, and time deserve to be valued too.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support Asher’s Wonder Co. and allows me to keep creating ✨🎈🤍
