The Lynden Lane Co. Event Stylist We LOVE working in collaboration with planners and coordinators. The event stylist focuses on the visual (vs the logistics) of the event.

The role of an Event Stylist is a relatively new one in the wedding world so We thought we could take a moment and clarify what an Event Stylist actually does and how it is different than an Event Planner and why you can benefit from having both at your wedding or event. A wedding/party planner offers more comprehensive and detailed services that can include contracting and negotiating with your v

enue, managing budgets, caterers, photographer, DJ/band, transportation, creating timelines, event logistics, organizing your rehearsal dinner, coordination of all of the vendors and generally being on hand throughout the process to answer all of your “what if” questions. It is the perfect pairing of bringing together the logistics and design of your event with experts in each field. If you do want full service coordination and do not already have a planner, we can recommend wedding planners to you and work collaboratively with them to really take the wedding planning off your plate. Many venues and caterers have a site coordinator who can help you with logistics, and we will work hand in hand with them to execute the look we have created for your wedding day. If your venue doesn’t have a site coordinator, we can recommend a fantastic day-of coordinator.

Grateful doesn’t do it justice.
To our amazing clients who we would choose to be friends with before anything else. That’s a rare thing to say, but it’s the truth. To the people of the event & design industry. You have reminded us over and over again this year, why we chose this profession. To our friends and family who have been in the trenches of this year with us and us with them. We remember being at wedding long before we planned weddings and crying as the bride walked down the aisle. We were not close with the couple and actually were really just a date of a random guest. We happened to bare witness to a beautiful moment in the couples life. As the bride walked down the aisle , a closer relative looked over and said “you barely know them, why are you crying?”. To which we responded “ well this sh** is beautiful even when we don’t know the love”. And FYI we still cry at every wedding even when we do know the love.

We are a team of a mother and two daughters who believe that perfection is not always perfect, a font does make a difference, that balance creates art, there is no such thing as a detail that is too small, good etiquette equals good manners period, there is very little that a good laugh can’t cure, and that really good champagne is always worth it!

We find happiness in the softness of a perfect white t-shirt, the arch of a beautiful shoe, the perfect shade of a gray paint, a dog-eared book, a chubby baby, and a yummy cheese plate. In other words, we believe style and design are, or should be inherent in everything you do.
