The role of an Event Stylist is a relatively new one in the wedding world so We thought we could take a moment and clarify what an Event Stylist actually does and how it is different than an Event Planner and why you can benefit from having both at your wedding or event. A wedding/party planner offers more comprehensive and detailed services that can include contracting and negotiating with your venue, managing budgets, caterers, photographer, DJ/band, transportation, creating timelines, event logistics, organizing your rehearsal dinner, coordination of all of the vendors and generally being on hand throughout the process to answer all of your “what if” questions. It is the perfect pairing of bringing together the logistics and design of your event with experts in each field. If you do want full service coordination and do not already have a planner, we can recommend wedding planners to you and work collaboratively with them to really take the wedding planning off your plate. Many venues and caterers have a site coordinator who can help you with logistics, and we will work hand in hand with them to execute the look we have created for your wedding day. If your venue doesn’t have a site coordinator, we can recommend a fantastic day-of coordinator.
