Tomorrow we say goodbye to a building, but we aren't saying goodbye to you.
Tomorrow marks the final day of business for The Shoppe on Key Avenue, but it is only the beginning. We look forward to a new building and a new name!
As we close the doors on a location that has meant so much to our family, we do so with hearts full of gratitude. This little flower shop has been so much more than a business, it has been a place where we've celebrated life's happiest moments, comforted families during their hardest days, shared countless laughs, and built friendships that will last a lifetime.
For Mom, this shop has also been a continuation of the relationships she built during her years as a Lampasas ISD educator. So many former students, coworkers, families, and friends have stopped by over the years, not always for flowers, but simply to visit, catch up, and share a cup of coffee. Those conversations have become some of our greatest blessings.
To the wonderful Lampasas community, thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, sympathy tributes, and every milestone in between. Your kindness, loyalty, and support have allowed our family business to become something truly special.
While leaving Key Avenue is bittersweet, we are excited for the next chapter.
In July, we'll reopen as The Shoppe at Wildflower Hill, alongside The Venue at Wildflower Hill. You'll still find the same family, the same wonderful team, the same phone number, the same website, and the same commitment to serving you with beautiful flowers and exceptional care. And if you've always stopped in just to visit Mom over a cup of coffee, don't worry, that tradition isn't ending. We'll have the coffee on and look forward to welcoming you to our new home.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your lives. Your support has meant more than words can ever express, and we are forever grateful.
Here's to new beginnings, while always cherishing where it all began.
With love and gratitude,
Janice Perry & Jana Townsend
