Hey mamas 👋🏻

I want to start off by introducing myself!! 🙂 My name is Teegan, and I have lived in Lamoni for almost a year now. I am originally from here but moved to Des Moines shortly after high school to pursue a career in cosmetology. As much as I loved doing hair, I had the opportunity to live in Alaska where I spent my time nannying for a family of 4. I nannied for about 5 years, and then moved back to Iowa and had two boys. Ace is 2 and Auzzy is 8 months. While living in Lamoni, I started a new career with Care Initiatives as an activities coordinator and I absolutely love it. I spend my days directing, planning and creating events for residents and it’s so much fun.

Throughout my career with Care, it’s had me thinking that I might be good at creating and planning some summer events for mamas and their littles this summer! Since moving back, I’ve really wanted to connect with other moms and have play dates and fun events for our kids to play and get to spend time with one another outside of school and daycare.. & that’s pretty much how this page has come about!! 🤪

Going forward, my idea is to start planning small & some bigger events for our kiddos and mamas throughout the summer!! I’m new to this, so please bear with me. (Any help, or ideas anyone has please share below!!)
