MISSION
HoopShots Euro Academy was established to help American youth learn the complete game of basketball by introducing FIBA rules alongside NBA rules.
Basketball has become a global sport. While many countries teach youth both FIBA and NBA concepts, many American players grow up learning only NBA rules.
HoopShots Euro Academy believes our youth deserve the opportunity to learn the full game.
Our mission is to educate, inspire, and prepare the next generation through basketball education, international awareness, media training, financial literacy, and community engagement.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Many of today’s top NBA players grew up learning FIBA basketball before entering the NBA.
Several of the league’s most dominant international stars developed their games under FIBA rules and later became NBA MVPs, champions, and All-NBA players.
At the same time, no American-born player has won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award since 2018.
This is not criticism.
This is inspiration.
The game has become global, and American youth deserve access to the same knowledge and tools available throughout the rest of the basketball world.
Our message is simple:
Teach our kids the full game.
By learning both NBA and FIBA rules, players gain a broader basketball IQ, improve adaptability, and prepare themselves for opportunities in international competition, college basketball, professional basketball, and Olympic play.
DESTINATION 2028
Our goal is to establish free FIBA Awareness Clinics in every NBA city before the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Through monthly events, clinics, showcases, and educational programming, HoopShots Euro Academy seeks to unite communities while increasing awareness of the international game.
UNITY THROUGH BASKETBALL
America is home to people from all over the world.
Many residents living in the United States today were born in countries where FIBA basketball is the standard game taught to youth. They grew up learning international rules and international competition.
HoopShots Euro Academy invites those players, coaches, parents, and community members to become part of the movement.
We encourage people living in America who were not born in America to share their basketball knowledge and experiences with the next generation.
By bringing together Americans and international residents through basketball, we create opportunities for cultural exchange, mentorship, friendship, and learning.
When a young player learns from someone who grew up playing FIBA basketball overseas, they gain more than basketball knowledge.
They gain a global perspective.
Different backgrounds.
Different cultures.
One basketball.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT CURRICULUM
Participation in HoopShots Euro Academy extends beyond basketball.
Before participating in showcase games, creator games, media productions, or USA vs World events, players are expected to complete the HoopShots Euro Academy Development Curriculum.
The curriculum is designed to prepare young athletes for success both on and off the court.

Players must participate in the educational curriculum before becoming eligible to compete in HoopShots Euro Academy showcase events.

OUR VISION
HoopShots Euro Academy is committed to creating a nationwide movement that promotes basketball education, cultural unity, leadership development, and international awareness.
By 2028, we envision free FIBA awareness clinics in every NBA city, supported by former overseas professional players, international residents, community leaders, and volunteers working together to teach the full game.
We believe basketball can unite people across cultures, generations, and backgrounds.
We are not simply building better players.
