I am taking the week of July,4th off for vacation. With a little extra time, I thought this would be a good opportunity to make available a few smoked meat offerings to any who are interested. Just in time for the 4th of July Holiday break. We do this once a year, so get your request in early. The smokers typically fill up early.

If you are interested feel free DM me.

For your convenience, pickup can be made July3rd or July4th.

Hi everyone.

I want to give everyone an update from our Range of Motion Project fundraising effort that started Memorial Day weekend.

ROMP’s mission is to ensure access to high-quality prosthetic care for underserved people, improving mobility and independence.

I know Memorial Day seems like a long time ago, but Corrie just returned from 10days in Ecuador volunteering with the ROMP team. They helped so many people gain the gift of mobility and independence.

With your help, we were fund her trip and prosthetics supplies for the patients they helped.

We catered a wonderful teacher’s retirement party. 35yrs of service!
7-briskets
6-shoulders
4-pork belly burnt ends
2-bone-in turkey breasts
4-pans smoked mac&cheese
4-pans coleslaw
2-pans baked beans
And a lot of bread.
They said to expect 150-175….
A good time was had by all.

We saw many Crowded Tables retelling great memories spanning 35yrs of a job well-done!!

Hi everyone. This year, Nichole and I will be celebrating our 25th Annual Memorial Day BBQ Remembrance. Let that sink in…. 25-years of cherished memories with friends and family.

As Memorial Day approaches, we will be supporting the Range of Motion charity again this year with a BBQ fundraiser. We started this last year with great success, raising over $2,500!!

ROMP’s mission is to ensure access to high-quality prosthetic care for underserved people, improving mobility and independence. We hope to equal and/or surpass that amount this year.

Right now we anticipate the menu will be brisket (whole or by the lb), pork shoulder (whole or by the lb), pork belly burnt ends, turkey (pulled/chopped by the lb) and thick cut baby back pork ribs (by the slab). If you want something special, please ask. I will do my best to make it happen.

Depending on demand we will have smokers starting Thursday for Friday 26May morning pickup (for you cabin folks), Saturday morning and Sunday morning.

PM me for details for you early adopters. I will have an order form with all the details and pricing available, early next week. I also need to have a millennial test it so no-one gets frustrated because it doesn’t work. Space is limited so make sure to reserve your spot on the smoker. It will be 1st come, 1st served.

Even though inflation is affecting all of us, I will try to honor last year’s pricing because it’s for charity. And, charity shouldn’t bankrupt anyone. Again, we will be making $0.00.

I hope to have the order form updated by this weekend. PM me or call if you have early interest. Again, all net proceeds go to the Range of Motion charity.

We have been doing this for a while and we have learned: It’s not about the barbecue. It’s about the lives you touch and the people you meet. It’s about being present and intentional with yourself and your time.

I was born and raised in west-Texas. Our BBQ reflects this heritage. Our family moved to Lakeville, MN in the early 2000s. Everything is done on a live-fire smoker (stick burner).

Fire, wood, smoke, and patience. The way our parents and grandparents used to do smoked meat. It’s a legacy that says: If time was not a factor in our lives, barbecue could transport us back into some of those places where life was a little easier going. That’s what sharing barbecue with friends is all about.

Awesome barbecue is a by-product of awesome relationships. It is a catalyst. An invitation to gather friends and family around a crowded table.

This is our Promise to you.

Summer is coming and we have limited space for some awesome BBQ!! Work parties, graduations, retirements, celebrations of life, or just want someone else to do it so you can enjoy, give us a look.

Once we get the snowpack gone, we can start firing up the smoker. We are scheduling now.
