The Tumbleweed Riding Club is Lakeside's longest active venue for horsemen of all ages and ability. We are a non-profit organization
dedicated to providing a fun and affordable platform for each and every competitor to learn or advance their or their horses skills in a
friendly show environment. All board members are volunteers and we welcome everyone to be a part of the club, either as a board me

mber
or volunteer worker. Tumbleweed is an open show circuit for horses of all breeds. We offer a variety of classes for youth, amateur, and
professional horsemen. We have a year-end awards program which acknowledges the accomplishments of the previous show season at our annual awards banquet.

We need committee members! Right now, we are looking for members for the Banquet, Awards, and Pattern Committees.

Banquet Committee members will plan our Awards Banquet for early January. The banquet committee will find a venue, plan a menu, etc. Nicole Perry has already volunteered to chair, but she can't do it herself!

Awards Committee members will select and order awards, making sure the information for each award is correct, organize the awards for distribution at the banquet, etc. Tera Roberts has volunteered to chair the committee and a preliminary budget has been established.

Pattern Committee members will create patterns for all pattern classes before the start of next season. Jessica George, Kathy Wells, and Tera Roberts have already volunteered to be on the committee.

Committee participation will earn volunteer hours and is a great way to help out the club and provide your input.

Message this page or contact any Board Member to be put in contact with the right person for the committee you are interested in.

We need a couple more volunteers for the Open Show on Sunday!

We need someone at the main gate, as well as an announcer. Both of these positions can be split into morning and after lunch shifts.

Remember, six hours of volunteer time or a payment of $100 are needed to qualify for end of the year awards. Volunteers keep our club going! If you're not sure if you have met the requirement, contact Paula Everhart.

To volunteer for Sunday's show, contact Paula Everhart or message this page.
