📣 Tumbleweed Riding Club Needs Our Community’s Help! 🐴💛

Since 1954, Tumbleweed Riding Club has been one of Lakeside’s most cherished equestrian spaces — a volunteer-run, affordable, community-focused venue where riders of all ages and experience levels come to learn, grow, and compete.

Today, the Board of Directors is facing an urgent facility issue. Our entry/announcer’s booth has significant damage, including rotted wood that must be replaced for safety and continued use.

✨ The good news: Thanks to the generous donation from Liz Finch, all materials are covered.

🔧 The challenge:
We have not been able to secure enough volunteers with construction experience to complete the repairs. We have a quote from a knowledgeable carpenter and helper who can complete the work in 4–6 days at $400/day.
If volunteers join in, the labor time — and total cost — will go down considerably.

Tumbleweed Riding Club is a California non-profit ( #2046284), and all contributions are state tax-deductible.
