Hi, I’m Nia 👋🏼
Wedding officiant, professional third-wheel, and the calm presence you didn’t know you needed on your big day.
I’ve loved weddings for as long as I can remember—probably because I grew up in my mom’s bridal shop right here in the Flathead Valley. Helping brides find the dress was my thing for years, so being part of love stories has always felt like home. In 2015, when a bride came to pick up her gown and found herself suddenly without an officiant, I said, “I can do it?!”—and just like that, I officiated my very first wedding. I’ve been happily marrying couples ever since.
My ceremony style? Short and sweet, heartfelt, lighthearted, and never boring. I love telling your story in a way that feels authentic to you. Whether that means laughs, happy tears, or taking a surprise Fireball shot after your vows (yes, that actually happened), I’m all about thinking outside the box. If you’re wondering, “Can we do/say that?” my answer is usually: ABSOLUTELY.
I live in Lakeside, Montana on Flathead Lake—about 45 minutes from Glacier National Park—and I’m a proud yearly Glacier pass holder 🙌🏻 I adore Montana in all four seasons, from mountain sunrises to unreal stargazing nights. I love intimate elopements just as much as big celebrations, and I truly believe the best ceremonies feel intentional, personal, and relaxed—especially for couples who hate being the center of attention but love each other deeply.
I work with all kinds of couples: adventurous, shy, second (or third!) marriages, “let’s-elope-in-the-mountains” types, and LGB+ couples (I’d be honored!). My goal is simple: to make your ceremony feel like you—nothing forced, nothing awkward, just genuine love and a really good moment you’ll remember forever.
Fun facts about me? I love breakfast food and sushi, I’m a dog and duck mom, obsessed with shoes/swimsuits/coats, big into DIY and crafting, great at cooking… terrible at baking 😅
If you’re looking for an officiant who’s easy to talk to, truly cares about your story, and will stand right beside you with warmth, calm, and a few happy tears—I’d love to be that person.
