The Soper-Reese is a project of the Lake County Arts Council. The Mission of the theatre is to provide a professional venue for the performing arts and community events in Lake County, California. To achieve this Mission, the Goals of the theatre are:
To enhance the cultural enjoyment of all members of the community
To promote tourism and the economic vitality of Lakeport and all of Lake County by

attracting diverse artistic and cultural events from around the state and nation
To provide more opportunities for Lake County students to experience and appreciate the performing arts
To preserve a local and beloved landmark
