Thank you LCWCC! ❤️

As the Lake County Women’s Civic Club (LCWCC) closes another successful year and takes a two-month summer break, we ended the season with a wonderful celebration and an exciting opportunity to give back to our community.

We are pleased to announce the award of $10,000 which was accrued from the LCWCC Marston Fund to Barbara Clark, Executive Director of the Lake County Arts Council for the benefit of the Soper Reese Theatre. These funds will be used to upgrade the theater’s sound system, enhancing the experience for performers and audiences alike.

The Marston Committee selected this application because of the tremendous contribution the theater makes to our community through quality entertainment, educational programs, and cultural opportunities for people of all ages throughout the year.

This year’s Marston Fund application process was highly competitive, with 19 applications submitted for consideration. The committee carefully reviewed each proposal before making its final decision. We sincerely thank all applicants for their participation and commend them for the important work they are doing to serve Lake County. We wish them every success in their future endeavors.

As we look ahead, LCWCC has completed its budget for the upcoming year and is excited to continue its mission of supporting the people of Lake County. Through the proceeds raised at our annual Mad Hatters fundraiser and other fundraiser ventures, we look forward to providing assistance to other worthy causes and organizations throughout our community.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of our members whose dedication, hard work, and countless volunteer hours make LCWCC a vital resource for Lake County. Their commitment continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Most importantly, we thank the generous businesses, organizations, and individuals who support our efforts year after year. Your kindness and community spirit make our work possible.

Together, we are making a difference in Lake County, and we look forward to continuing that work in the year ahead.

Have a wonderful summer, and we’ll see you in the fall! ☀️💙
