The best photographs happen when you’re comfortable enough to simply be yourself. 📸

On the latest episode of For Real, I Do., Pervez and Nicole of P.Taufiq Photography talk about their approach of becoming “friends with cameras”-creating a connection with their couples and families that allows the camera to feel less present as the weekend unfolds.

Because comfort shows.

When you’re thinking about where to put your hands, how you’re standing, or whether the camera is watching, that tension can make its way into the final images. But when you feel connected to the people behind the lens, you can relax. You laugh the way you actually laugh. You move naturally. You stay in the moment instead of performing for it.

Across a multi-day celebration, that connection has time to deepen. Your photography team learns the people, the personalities, the family dynamics, and the moments worth watching for.

And that’s where their artistry has room to unfold-not by creating a version of you for the camera, but by beautifully capturing you being you.

Two backgrounds, one party.

Miya and Vishal opened their wedding weekend at The Vinoy with a welcome party that borrowed a little from each side of their story, London on one hand, Texas on the other, brought together under market lights and a night that had no interest in taking itself too seriously.

A live band kept the energy moving, and just when guests thought they’d seen the full lineup for the evening, Vishal had one more surprise waiting for Miya. Monkeys!! An unexpected addition nobody saw coming and everybody will be talking about for years.

This is the part of a wedding weekend we love most, the night before it gets formal, when guests are still arriving and the couple gets to simply host. No ceremony to manage, no timeline to hold tightly to, just an introduction to the days ahead.

The best weekends don’t start with tradition. They start with a party that feels like the couple.

There’s a thin line between what’s real and what’s staged, and the founders of P.Taufiq Photography say that’s exactly the point. ✨

In this clip, Pervez and Nicole open up about the balance between letting a moment unfold naturally and gently art directing one into being. Both have a place. Both can feel just as real. Because at the end of the day, what matters most is how a photo makes you feel when you look back on it.

With so much happening on a wedding day, their goal is simple: give couples permission to slow down, be present, and protect that time as sacred, even if it’s just for an hour.

This is the kind of intentionality that turns photos into lasting memories. 🤍

One of the most common questions couples ask after getting engaged is: How do I know what my wedding is actually going to cost?

Before you can confidently secure a date, choose a venue, or begin building your vendor team, you need a realistic framework for the celebration you’re planning.

That starts with more than a number.

A thoughtful planning process helps you define your priorities, understand where your budget will have the greatest impact, and see how decisions around guest count, location, number of events, design, hospitality, and logistics affect the investment as a whole.

Because certainty doesn’t come from choosing a budget that sounds comfortable on paper.

It comes from understanding what that budget can realistically support — and then making intentional decisions from there.

For our couples and their families, that clarity creates space to move forward with confidence, rather than questioning every decision along the way.

If you’re newly engaged and looking for guidance as you begin planning your wedding, we’d be glad to learn more about what you’re envisioning.

San Antonio, thank you for a weekend full of connection and inspiration - and a big thank you to Hilton Hotels & Resorts for inviting us out!

Our Event Producer, Abi and Whitney, attended Hilton’s “For Your Love” networking event at Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa to strengthen relationships across the industry and stay close to what is shaping weddings right now.

Cocktail hour opened with cowboys and cowgirls riding through the space, an entrance neither of them expected and could not stop talking about. From there, a staged wedding brought fresh design ideas to life, with ceremony cocktails styled to match the moment.

The reception leaned fully into a garden feel, down to butterfly es**rt cards carrying that ambiance through every table, a detail worth filing away for future celebrations.

Abi and Whitney closed out their time networking with fellow industry professionals over goat yoga, proof that some of the best relationship building happens outside a conference room.

If a Texas venue is on your radar, Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa deserves a spot on your list.

Grateful for the connections made and the trends brought home to bring into future planning.

“That’s not going to translate to their wedding day.” 👀

Brittany gets real about a question she hears constantly from couples: how important is it to hire a photographer who actually understands the culture behind the ceremony?

Pervez & Nicole’s answer is simple but powerful, understanding the nuances means you’re not just reacting, you’re anticipating. And that anticipation is what creates space for real creativity, instead of just being “hot on the trigger.”

A pretty Instagram feed doesn’t guarantee a photographer who understands the significance of what’s happening in front of them. This is why cultural fluency isn’t a nice to have, it’s essential.

There’s a quiet choreography happening around the mandap during the pheras. The right team already knows it.

On the latest episode of For Real, I Do., Pervez of PTaufiq Photography talks about the details a culturally fluent wedding team anticipates without needing to be told.

Where to stand. When to move. When to give the couple space. And how to capture what is happening without becoming part of it.

Because cultural understanding isn’t something you add to the timeline. It shows in how you move through it.

Before the drums, the guests, and the movement of the day, there was this.

A quiet Sarasota morning. Handwritten notes exchanged. A first look with nowhere else to be.

These are the moments we want our couples to have space for.

Because on your wedding day, you should not be thinking about whether the mandap is ready, where a partner is, or what happens next on the timeline. You should be able to trust that someone else is holding those details so you can be fully present for the ones that matter.

For Ravina and Purav, that meant slowing down long enough to take each other in before the celebration began.

Beautifully captured by Balerina Films, it is a reminder of why the planning matters in the first place.

Presence is the point. Planning is how we earn it.

A rock star and a model found their way behind the camera. 🎙️

The ultimate compliment? When your guests notice how well your wedding was planned.

“The ultimate compliment was that our guests and vendors shared so much positive feedback about how well planned the weekend was, we could not have asked for more...”

For Digyna & Krishan, this was not simply one beautiful wedding day. It was an entire weekend of celebrations, traditions, transitions, and unforgettable moments.

Ganesh Puja & Haldi. Welcome Party. Sataak. Sangeet. Baraat. Wedding Ceremony. Ballroom Reception.

Seven events, each with its own energy and purpose, all thoughtfully connected into one cohesive celebration at Loews Coral Gables.

Because when your wedding includes this many moving pieces, you should not be spending the weekend wondering where a vendor is, whether the next space is ready, or if everyone knows where they need to be.

You should be present.

You should be celebrating.

And your guests should walk away talking about how effortless the entire experience felt.

That is what more than 15 years of experience producing multi-event South Asian weddings brings to the table. We do not just make the celebration beautiful. We make sure the experience behind it is just as considered.

Digyna & Krishan, hearing that your guests AND vendors noticed the difference? We could not ask for a better compliment.

Planning a multi-day South Asian wedding weekend of your own? Let Eventrics handle the details so you and your family can actually experience every moment.
