Many have asked...there will definitely be a Lil'ELF 2017!
Since 2011, Little Econ has grown and evolved across multiple venues involving many different production teams, all in an effort to find The best way for our family to participate in and support local, regional, and national talent. It has been a long hard beautiful journey, and we are very proud of what our family has accomplished.
This year our goal will be to create an exclusive, inclusive experience. Since there are so many wonderful gatherings operating large scale productions, we are going to shift our focus from the stage to the campground. What this means is that while we will still have many of our favorite Lil' ELF musicians performing throughout the event, we will also have community installations including but not limited to: Community kitchen, community garden, a speakeasy open bar, and a 24 hour café. It is our hope that this model will help us create a unique celebratory experience.
These developments imply three changes in Lil' ELF:
1. Ticket prices will go down
Little Econ Love Fest Will no longer be considered a standard music festival production, but rather a not for profit family reunion. Ticket prices will be reduced to reflect the cost of community installations and the money saved through community involvement.
2. Ticket prices include a donation to a community installation
Because the event now has a nonprofit focus, it is essential for the community to donate an order for the installations to work. Be it time, energy, specialized skills, a loaf of bread, or a bottle of rum, everyone will be expected to donate to the community installations, musicians and production staff included.
3. We will be providing a limited number of tickets
In order to create this experience, we have to limit the scale of the event. It is in our experience that these style of events are incredibly intimate and provide unique learning experiences. This year we will make only 250 general admission passes available.
We realize that this is a lot of change, and we hope to find that some of our family members are interested in taking this journey with us. Our idea for change has been inspired by our team's experiences traveling around the southeast over the past few years. We are hoping to combine the best aspects of some of our favorite gatherings in an attempt to start something new for our Florida family and extended Hometeam musical family.

As many know, growing this festival over the past few years has been an intense labor of love for myself and the What'sit production team, and the countless individuals who have made sacrifices to build up the Love Fest.
