Noli is wishing everyone a wonderful National Dog Day!

Did you know that National Dog Day was made to celebrate dogs of all breeds and backgrounds, promote dog adoption, and raise awareness about the welfare of dogs around the world? It also recognizes working dogs and the roles they play in human society, including service, police, military, and search and rescue dogs!

Noli works hard as our lodge dog, she thinks all dogs should be celebrated. In honor of today, she wanted to share a few ways to celebrate:

Adopt or Foster: Visit a local animal shelter or rescue organization to support animals in need. Noli says that ad you saw online was a sign, it's meant to be, go pet that dog!

Pamper Your Pet: Give your dog a long walk, a new toy, or a special grooming session. (She says don't forget to cuddle, and new treats are good too)

Check Safety: Update your dog's microchip information and check that their ID tags are current.

Noli says next time you visit, don't forget to check in at the lodge and say hello!
