A little rain can't stop us!

We had an amazing Firefly All-Inclusive Mountain Getaway this weekend even with some liquid sunshine! Our families were able to see fireflies at night, go on llama hikes, practice their archery and axes skills, and go on nature walks!

Thank you to our families that came and hung out with us for Memorial Day weekend, we hope to see you back at Earthshine soon!

Our next staff introduction is Dustin!

Dustin is from Concord, North Carolina and he grew up going to the US National Whitewater Center which is where his love for the outdoors began.

"I spent my time in high school racing mountain bikes which brought me to Brevard College along with the Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education degree. I will be starting my last semester of my senior year at Brevard in the fall ‘26. My journey at Earthshine started this semester to put the skills that I’ve gained from my degree into practice and help teach kids about the outdoors."

When not at Earthshine Dustin spends most of his time either on the water or on the trails.

In the summer Dustin works as a raft guide and kayak instructor on rivers across the southeast.
