Hip Hip Hooray we have an opening day!!
Power came on over the weekend and we will be able to reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25 from 10AM-3PM!

We’re working hard today at getting everything, ready for a fun day! Please be aware, NIPSCO and their partners are still working hard at getting our neighbors’ power back, and fallen trees along the road cleared. Don’t be alarmed by the army of trucks in the parking lot 😊

We’re still sorting out getting our outdoor water features running again, hopefully by tomorrow, but we’ll still have a lot of fun either way!

Phones and Internet are still taking a minute to come back online— reach out to us here or call the main office at 219-769-7275.

Friends, we want to give you good news, but unfortunately there is still no power at Bellaboo's.

Right now, the earliest possible reopening, if we get power over the weekend, is Tuesday. However, if power is not restored over the weekend that date will keep getting pushed back.

We promise, we'll be here with all the bells and whistles as soon as we have a reopening date set. We can't wait!

Sending all our love to our friends and neighbors also still offline. We hope we're all back and powered up so soon!

Monday, August 17th Update

Not the update we were hoping to make today, but here's where things stand at The 'Boo.

✦ Power is currently still out.

✦ Lake Station has not been highlighted in the most recent (Monday-Wednesday) restoration timeline presented by NIPSCO. We remain hopeful, but assume this means we will not get power back until after Wednesday.

✦ Once power is restored we'll need around a full day to get food ordered and delivered & finish cleaning and preparing the space for play again. Outdoor water features were drained, so it might take a little bit longer to get the outdoors fully operational again.

We can confidently say we will NOT be reopening tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18.
Wednesday remains highly unlikely, but we will update tomorrow if that becomes a possibility.

Grateful for your patience, and sending you all the warmest (or coolest, if your AC is still out) wishes as you rebuild, await restoration, and keep yourselves sane amidst a truly wild time in NWI.

Friday, August 14

Unfortunately, we still don't have power. Due to the clean up that will need to take place once we're back online in addition to needing to get food ordered and back in the building, the earliest we anticipate opening is Tuesday, August 18.

Of course, that could change depending on when we get power back. If we still do not have power on Monday, we will post another update.

We hope you all are doing OK navigating this crazy storm. We can't wait to get back to playing, having fun, and making memories as soon as its safe to do so.
