What a day in Lake Placid!
Yesterday’s Dmitry’s Feast of the Peaks & Music Festival was everything we hoped it would be — beautiful weather, hundreds of people filling the Olympic Oval, and an incredible day of music, food, shopping, activities and community.
Nearly 50 vendors joined us, offering everything from delicious food to art, crafts, handcrafted furniture and one-of-a-kind creations.
The kids stayed busy with carnival games and bounce houses, and we’re pretty sure one of the biggest stars of the entire day was Tony the Sloth, brought to us by Lena the Lizard Lady!
A huge thank you to all of the talented musicians who kept the Oval filled with music throughout the day, and to every vendor, sponsor and community member who came out and helped make the event such a success.
And most importantly, events like this don’t just happen. A tremendous amount of work goes on behind the scenes. Special thanks to the Shipman Youth Center Board, event committee and all of the volunteers who gave their time, energy and countless hours to make yesterday possible.
We at Elevation Planning & Events were proud to be a part of bringing it all together and helping continue this special event in support of the Shipman Youth Center.
Here are just a few highlights from an unforgettable day.
