Finally getting around to showing some of the prep work behind my wedding day!

To be completely honest I worked for roughly 4 hours on processing all of the stems with the help of my mom who also used to be a florist, thankful to have had her help because the 4 hours easily would’ve turned into 8-10 without a second person!

Once everything was processed, back in water with a fresh cut and organized I was able to begin designing! Im pretty quick to get my materials organized and my mechanics ready, leave it up to my type A personality . I find this to be usually my #1 step so when in finished processing I can immediately jump into design.

I had nearly ALL 21 center pieces designed and all 21 ground florals designed by midnight on Thursday ( we started Thursday ) this allowed me to take Friday for bouquets, boutonnières , corsages and any last minute adjustments as well as loading the trailer! It was a whirlwind of 2 days where I was up around 6 and went to bed after 1am each night and I’m not sure how I did it all honestly but it went so smooth and it was beautiful!

just a little PSA, I will be out of office officially today through Sunday, I’ll be back on Monday the 28th!

This weekend I’ll be tackling my own wedding , and iv got my hands full!💪🏼 hoping to share some of the prep along the way after the week/weekend is over.

I believe iv shared with everyone who has recently inquired that I will be out but I wanted to post it on here as well for any new inquiries that come through while I’m out. If you know me, you know I’m very responsive! But unfortunately I will be a bit busy and want to reserve the remainder of my time on being present 🤍

I told my self I wasn’t going to take any September weddings this year, with back to school for my oldest and my own wedding to plan this month. Saying no is my least favorite thing to do! All that being said, I said yes to one September wedding and I’m SO glad I did.

Usually I wait for professional photos of the florals because my photos do not compare, but I can’t help share just a sneak peak of how this turned out🥹.

If you’re ever debating on statement pieces or ground florals, let this be your sign, they are VERY much worth it.
