TONIGHT! Tuesday, October 6 | Lake Park Night Out

6:00–8:00 PM | Mathisen Square

Come spend the evening with our local law enforcement officers and first responders and enjoy a night of family fun right here in Lake Park.

We’ll also have a special visit from Med Center Air at 5:30.

Activities include: Train rides, Mechanical Bull, Rock Climbing Wall, Bounce House, and more.

Come hungry! We’ll have FREE hot dogs, chips, BBQ, and ice cream while supplies last.

Sandra Lee’s Country Cooking will also be on site with food available for purchase.

Come meet the people who serve our community, catch up with neighbors, grab some food, and enjoy a fun evening together.

🦋 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗕𝗨𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗟𝗬 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 🦋
When we created the Lake Park Butterfly Award, we planned to recognize one special neighbor. But after reading the nominations and the wonderful stories you shared, we simply couldn't choose just one. 💗
So today, we're proud to recognize THREE incredible Lake Park neighbors who show us what kindness, generosity, and community are all about.

🦋 𝗞𝗔𝗬𝗟𝗔 𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗢𝗡
Kayla was nominated for being the kind of neighbor who makes kindness part of everyday life. She's always welcoming and willing to help, whether she's sharing vegetables, flowers, and homemade bread or simply being there when someone needs a helping hand or a listening ear.

🦋 𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗥
Rita's nomination showed us what it means to truly look out for your neighbors. When a neighbor was battling cancer and recovering from surgery, Rita walked their dog every day. She's helped search for lost pets, checks with neighbors before heading to the store to see if they need anything, and consistently goes above and beyond for those around her.

🦋 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗢𝗙𝗔𝗟𝗢
Stacey was nominated for quietly and consistently caring for others. She helps neighborhood moms and children, checks on families when they're sick, babysits, and makes her home a welcoming place for neighborhood kids. When one neighbor was sick and home alone with young children, Stacey immediately went to the pharmacy to get the medicine she needed.

These are the acts of kindness that often happen quietly, without recognition or expectation of anything in return. And that's exactly why we wanted to recognize them. 🦋

Please join us tonight at Food Truck Friday as we honor Kayla, Rita, and Stacey as the recipients of the 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 – 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻 at 7:30 at the Gazebo.
