Bella Blumen's owner, Chrissi Martin, is a floral designer Up North who offers full service (includes delivery and setup) for weddings & events in the Leelanau County and surrounding areas. Other counties served may include Benzie, Grand Traverse, Antrim, Cheboygan & Charlevoix. I have always had a desire to work with flowers, but finally took the plunge into the flower world about 9 years ago. I

was professionally trained in not only how to create stunning arrangements, but how to listen to your customers and turn their vision into a reality. No matter if you are local or are planning a destination wedding I am here for you! I am here to take one of your stress factors off your list and make the process easier on you. As a floral designer it takes a good understanding of your expectations and I am here to point you in the right direction. I will guide you through the planning process to assure you no detail will be missed. Making your big day special shall not lack on the quality of your flowers because flowers can strongly set the mood for a wedding venue. As we go through the whole planning process together it is my goal that your flowers capture your style and personal vision for your special day.

Our Story

Flowers have been in my life ever since I can remember. I was born and raised in Germany. Therefore, I have a lot of European influence in me when it comes to floral design. As a child I became friends with our local florist as I was fascinated every time my mom and I would enter the flower store. The natural beauty of the flowers’ shapes, lines, textures and flood of colors was mesmerizing. I knew right then that flowers would always be in my life one way or another.

I found my way back to flowers as I was working on my college degree! Art & Psychological Sciences became my passion, but the flower classes were my mental building block. They gave me balance to make it through all of my classes each semester. I considered it floral art at its finest and found it to be the most therapeutic thing on the planet. It was in 2011 when I dove all in and was professionally trained over several years in everything floral design had to offer.

Today I am here to work with you! I will be helping you find the right style, color scheme and overall ambience for your event. I trust you to trust me to turn your vision into a reality by offering my knowledge and skill at highest standards.
