🇺🇸 HELP US HONOR OUR LOCAL VETERANS
Every veteran has a story—and we want to help tell them.
For an upcoming issue of our magazine, we’re putting together a special feature honoring the men and women from our community who have served our country.
We’re looking for stories about local veterans—past and present—whose service, sacrifice, and lives deserve to be remembered and shared.
Maybe it’s your father or grandfather. A mother or grandmother. A spouse, neighbor, friend, coworker, or someone whose story has stayed with you.
We want to hear about them.
📖 Send us their story for the opportunity to be included in our Veterans Feature.
Please include:
• Veteran’s name
• Branch of service
• A little about their military service
• Their connection to our community
• Any special memories or stories you’d like to share
• Photos, if available

Join UF/IFAS Extension Columbia County for the Great Southeast Pollinator Count, a fun, family-friendly event where you'll learn about Florida's incredible native pollinators while contributing to real scientific research!

During this FREE event, you'll:

🦋 Participate in a simple 15-minute pollinator count
🌻 Help collect valuable data that supports pollinator conservation
