There’s something timeless about the way sunlight pours through the golden wood and glass of the Baughman Center. Nestled along the quiet edge of Lake Alice, this stunning piece of Florida architecture is both a work of art and a reminder of how much we adore celebrating in our home state of Florida.

Four table designs, one unforgettable dinner.

Emily & Evan’s reception at The Resort at Longboat Key Club was a feast for the eyes — each table color-blocked in its own palette, complete with matching menus, curated furniture rentals, and florals to tie it all together.

It was a collaboration between our amazing team of vendors that took meticulous planning (and more than a few spreadsheets) to pull off — but the result was pure magic, proving that when it comes to design, the details make all the difference.

Sarah and Alex’s invitation suite was full of thoughtful details.

A custom emblem was carried throughout the suite and into the day-of stationery… it even made its way onto Alex’s cufflinks, a gift from his sweet Sarah.

We collaborated with to tell a story with their postage–the two met at a polo match and have been inseparable ever since. We included the Bobby Jones stamp as a nod to their love of golf, as well as the Everglades stamp to pay tribute to their home state of Florida.

Perhaps our favorite touch, however, was the blind pressed florals on the save-the-date and invitation, pulled directly from the lace on Sarah’s dress.

After dinner, guests stepped into a tent dripping in color and full of thoughtful details that reflected D&P from every angle.

A grand blue bar anchored the space, perfectly matching the drapery and other custom-painted pieces featured throughout. To complement, an orange and pink patterned fabric floated overhead and was brought down to ground level through coordinating pillows that sat atop chic lounge furniture.

Late into the night, guests were surprised on the dance floor with personalized ball caps to commemorate the weekend, as well as salty snacks to keep the party going.

After the ceremony, guests drifted onto the front porch and made themselves at home in the lobby of The Inn at High Hampton, with craft cocktails in hand and conversation spilling into every corner. Es**rt cards were tucked into a grouping of lush floral arrangements, turning the simple act of finding your seat into a joyful moment of discovery.

As the evening unfolded, the celebration effortlessly shifted to its next chapter — dinner just steps away in the dining room, where the day’s magic would only grow deeper.

Our little secret: though it could not have been any more perfect of a setting for this segment of their celebration, the lobby was our “Plan B” for cocktail hour. Early in the day, after reviewing the radar, we decided to move forward with this change, leaving the covered area downstairs clear and ready for a relocation of the ceremony in case of bad weather.

Married under the mountains.

A low arch of vibrant blooms framed D&P’s vows and effortlessly contrasted the natural hues of their lakeside setting. It was perfectly impactful, but just the right height to avoid blocking the stunning view behind them.

The radar kept us on our toes, but with a bit of faith and plenty of calm pivots behind the scenes, the skies stayed clear when we needed their cooperation the most. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, D&P’s ceremony unfolded smoothly under the summer sun.

As Friday evening wound down and dinner plates were cleared, everyone met back outside for a nightcap by the fire. The glow of the flames and the hum of excited conversation wrapped the evening in warmth, giving D&P a few more hours of laughter and connection before the whirlwind of their wedding day began. 

If there’s anything we’ve learned in our time planning milestone celebrations, it’s this: in the afterglow of their weddings, our happiest couples are the ones who spent the most time with their guests.

After the welcome party, while most guests meandered to High Hampton’s upscale dining room for supper, D&P’s immediate family members made their way to the front porch of The Inn for an intimate rehearsal dinner.

To emphasize the merging of their families and encourage conversation, we had their loved ones gather around a singular long table sprinkled with soft blues, flickering candlelight, and vessels of fresh blueberries – a quiet tribute to our groom’s farming roots in Oregon.

A custom cocktail experience, panoramic mountain views, and some dang good live music… D&P’s loved ones were welcomed to Cashiers with top-notch hospitality in mind!

The crowd favorite was a “build your own” margarita bar that served as a nod to the couple’s first date and featured house-infused tequilas and mezcals, as well as your choice of a specialty rim and elaborate garnishes.

To bring the fun up a notch, we collaborated with Floressence Flowers to incorporate fresh limes, ripe jalapeños, and sprigs of cilantro into the floral design. These thoughtful details set the tone for the weekend ahead.
