The Continental Room

The Continental Room As of 2025, the venue is for sale. Asking $425K. In 1948, the building became the home of The Continental Trailways Bus Station (thus the name of the venue).

Bobby Denton acquired the building in 1989 and utilized it as a storage building for his massive collection of antiques and collectibles he had acquired over many years. After his death in 2012, his sister, Mattie Denton Borel, took ownership and repurposed into a beautiful event venue in 2015. She was 81 years young when she opened the doors to her first guests. The facility incorporates the old

with the new in a cozy, chic, industrial environment. The main space is 1189 sq ft and can accommodate up to 100 people reception style or 50-75 in 4' rounds. The venue provides a blank canvas for those needing a space for an intimate wedding, reception, celebration of life, birthday party, shower, and more. We allow groups to bring in their own caterer, decorator, and other vendors and DIY or, with enough notice, we can provide turnkey event planning services. The Continental Room is now taking reservations. All Aboard for your perfect event.
