It’s been a while & we have so many new followers- I think it’s time to reintroduce myself 🤩

My name is Kourtney - owner and floral designer for KD Floral & Events. I’ve been in the flower world since 2019. I switched professions from an ICU Nurse to full time wedding florist in 2022. My favorite thing about weddings is being able to have such a personal connection with each bride and help create their dream wedding florals!
We offer candle rentals, vase rentals, and specialize in gorgeous florals. I love what I do. Every single day. The people I get to meet, the wonderful vendors who have become family, and all of our brides we’ve designed for over the years - I am so grateful for each of you 💚

Four years ago I was blessed with the opportunity to be invited to The Flower Fest. Creating a huge 12ft x 12ft piece of art out of florals. We got a team together and traveled down to Pointe Marie. Behind us in this photo was probably the largest crawfish trap ever made!
What an amazing experience it was to be joined by friends to make my ideas a reality!

Thank you to all of our customers who have supported us for our spring opener. To be able to share space with Shelby has been a blessing. I truly appreciate our partnership, and even more, our friendship over the past year. Being a small business is hard and we are both so grateful to be able to do what we love. We will continue to provide a fun boutique style space for some of the most beautiful flowers, decor, and clothes!
