Lately, I’ve been finding my quiet place in a not-so-quiet place.

Being an entrepreneur and owning my own business, my mind is always going and going. So having these "quiet places" is a must for me to silence all the craziness in my head.

I used to play racquetball all the time back when I went to McNeese. It's been years since I last played, but I recently got a membership so I could play again.

Walking into that room almost feels surreal. You step through this tiny little door that makes you feel like a hobbit. Then suddenly, you’re surrounded by these huge white walls in an enclosed space. Every little sound echoes, but the simplicity of the room and the white walls help calm my mind.

Take some time today to find your quiet place and don’t forget to rest your mind.

These were the words I heard as I saw tears building up in the eyes of an audience member I was talking to after a recent show.

They’re moving to the most awarded skyscraper in Houston, Pennzoil Place!

I performed a custom trick to reveal their big news, then spent the rest of lunch walking around and entertaining everyone.

It’s not just about the magic.

Last Saturday night, the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino - Lake Charles brought me in to entertain their VIP guests.

The evening was all about the guests getting to know their new hosts. The casino wanted someone to bring everyone together with laughter, smiles, and mind-blowing magic.

I always love when the atmosphere matches the entertainment, and they absolutely nailed it. Everything was perfectly put together.

To top it all off, the night ended with the casino giving away $25,000 in free play to one lucky team!
