🔥🐷 RIB RUMBLE RECAP! 🐷🔥

What an AWESOME weekend! This past weekend, T’s Smokin Bones Bar-B-Que had the opportunity to compete in the Rib Rumble at The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint, hosted by the Rib Cook Off Association!

We went head-to-head with some of the best pitmasters around, and we gave it everything we had in Baby Back Ribs, St. Louis Ribs, and Chicken Wings! 💨🔥

🏆 5TH PLACE – BABY BACK RIBS!
🐷 34th – St. Louis Ribs
🍗 41st – Chicken Wings

Getting that 5th-place call in Baby Backs against this level of competition was something we're extremely proud of! 🙌🔥

But the weekend wasn't over yet...

We got hit with a SURPRISE competition at the last minute! 😳🔥 The Top 5 finishers in Baby Backs and St. Louis Ribs were invited to compete in a special one-bite competition.
And the judges? None other than barbecue legends Heath Riles and Bobby Trunak (Bobby T)! 🤯🔥

Getting the opportunity to put one of our bites in front of those guys was an experience we'll never forget. That's what competition BBQ is all about—challenging yourself, learning from some of the best, meeting great people, and making memories along the way.

We had an absolute BLAST at The Shed and can't wait to fire those smokers back up for the next one! 💨🐷🔥

What an incredible weekend for Team T's Smokin Bones Bar-B-Que!

This weekend, Adam had the opportunity to travel with us to Mississippi to The Shed Barbeque and Blue Joint and compete in the Rim Rumble, Kids Q competition—an experience he won't soon forget. Along the way, he got to meet and take photos with some true barbecue legends, including Brad Orrison, owner of The Shed BBQ, Bobby T, winner of Season 7 of BBQ Brawl, and the current back-to-back Memphis in May World Champion, Heath Riles.

But Adam didn't just show up—he showed out!
Competing in the 10–15 age division against 9 talented young pitmasters, Adam brought home 1st Place! His winnings included:

🏆 1st Place Trophy
💰 Over $200 in prize money
🔪 An awesome $100 knife from Spaceman Knives

And to make it even more special, he accomplished all of this on his birthday weekend!
For his award-winning entry, Adam created a unique hot dog "burnt ends" dish featuring:
🌭 Smoked 1/4-pound hot dogs cut into burnt ends 🧅 Caramelized onions on the bottom of the bun 🧀 A slice of Gouda cheese 🌶️ A pickled jalapeño slice 🥓 Grilled bacon bits

We couldn't be more proud of the hard work, dedication, and creativity Adam displayed this weekend.

The future of barbecue is bright, and it's exciting to watch him continue to grow his skills.

It was some tough competition this weekend though we did come home with some hardware.

🥈2nd place Ribs
9th in chicken
9th in Pork
12th in Brisket

7th overall

On the Ancillarys we killed it

🥇1st place dessert with Nutter Butter Banana Cheesecake
🏆🏆🏆

🥇1st place margarita with Dragon's Breath, dragon fruit flavored margarita with dry ice
🏆🏆🏆

And Adam placed🏆2nd in the kidz que with his awsome smoked cheese stuffed bacon bbq burger.

I got a stomach bug towards the end so I missed the awards. But my awsome team took up the slack.
