Morgan & Josh caught the very end of whale season during their wedding at sea, with a few surprise sightings off the Maui coastline while they celebrated with their closest friends and family onboard.

That’s one of the things we love most about weddings on the water — no two evenings ever unfold the same way, but it's always a magical night.

Why get married at sea? 🤍

Because after you say your vows, you sail into the sunset together.

Morgan & Josh’s wedding onboard felt relaxed, intimate, and completely present from start to finish. Barefoot moments on the nets, sunset over the water, and the kind of atmosphere that just can’t be recreated at a traditional venue.

There’s something really special about celebrating surrounded by the ocean and the people you love most.

Some of our favorite wedding moments aren’t always the ceremony itself.

It’s welcoming guests onboard with fresh lei greetings.
It’s the personalized décor waiting on the tables.
It’s the champagne toast after jumping into the ocean together still dressed in wedding clothes.
It’s celebrating on Lānaʻi at the Hale O Manele Pavilion with an entirely different backdrop and feel from a traditional venue.

These photos were pulled from two different Trilogy Weddings to show how each couple brought their own personal touches into the day. Different photographers, different styles, different details, different energy — all equally beautiful in their own way. One celebration took place onboard, while the other gathered on Lānaʻi at the Hale Pavilion.
