There's a lot of whisky out there, but the island of Islay is legendary for having some of the best Scotch distilleries in the world. I made my way to this remote island so that you don't have to! I was able to taste some of the best Scotch I've ever had, and enjoy the beauty of these three gorgeous white washed distilleries on the south side of the island.

Such an amazing luau with at ! did a spectacular job decorating the bar. And Dennis and Marcus were killing it!

has made its way to Hawaii! Thank you to Charlie and the team for sharing the story behind this first of it's kind Texas bourbon this week. They were kind enough to let us try some of the best of their best, and it really is some of the best! Can't beat that Cowboy bourbon, awesome stuff. For events, this is a great bourbon to use in cocktails, but even better to sip neat or on ice, it'll be a great treat for your guests! Disclaimer: I didn't get my Cowboy on the island, hopefully will find one here someday, though!

Trying my hand at a New York Sour! The aesthetic is awesome; you have to carefully pour the wine over a bar spoon to make sure it doesn't mix into the rest of the cocktail. I made this with Kirkland single barrel bourbon from Barton 1792.
2 oz bourbon or rye
1 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz of dry red wine
Top with egg white
