We often get asked about the ingredients in our Silent Night Sleep Spray, especially when people turn the bottle over and see a list of long, scientific names.

One thing many people don’t realize is that cosmetic labeling laws require us to use the official scientific names for ingredients on our packaging. While some of those names can look intimidating, many are simply the technical terms for ingredients you already know and trust.

Our Silent Night Sleep Spray is made in small batches by Marion and Greg Wiggins using thoughtfully selected ingredients that are non toxic and designed to support a relaxing bedtime routine.

Here’s the simplified version:

• Aqua = Water
• Witch Hazel Water = A soothing botanical base
• Magnesium Chloride = Magnesium mineral
• Polysorbate 20 = Helps essential oils mix evenly with water
• Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol & Sorbic Acid = A preservation system that keeps the product safe and free from bacteria, mold, and yeast
• Lavender Oil = Promotes a calming atmosphere
• Chamomile Flower Oil = Traditionally used for relaxation
• Vetiver Root Oil = An earthy, grounding essential oil often used in sleep blends

At its heart, Silent Night is simply a blend of water, witch hazel, magnesium, and calming essential oils, carefully preserved so it remains safe and effective from the first spray to the last.

Sometimes ingredients sound much scarier than they really are. A little research often reveals that many of those big words are simply the scientific names for ingredients that serve an important purpose in creating a safe, stable, high quality product.🪻

I love a good challenge, and if there’s one thing I’ve struggled to stay consistent with this year, it’s my sleep routine. As a former athlete and naturally competitive person, I know I do better when I have a goal to work toward and something to check off each day.

So I’m giving myself a 7 Day Sleep Challenge!✨

For the next seven nights, I’m committing to using our Silent Night Sleep Spray as part of my bedtime routine and paying attention to how it impacts my sleep. I’m especially curious to see, over time, how long it takes for it to become second nature because I know consistency is what creates habits. I can already imagine the scent itself eventually becoming a signal to my brain that it’s time to unwind, slow down, and head to sleep. I love the idea of creating a simple little nightly ritual that my mind and body begin to recognize.
