Lafayette Playhouse is available daily 9 AM– 8 PM by reservation. All reservations must be made by 2pm. Please read below for more information.
Our staffed hours may look limited right now, but that does not mean the Playhouse is unavailable. We are still offering playtime, parties, batting cages, and sports facility rentals during unstaffed hours by reservation only.
I want to be open and honest with our community. I am a mom of two, running two small businesses and a household. I know I signed up for this, but I also promised myself I would not lose myself while trying to run everything by myself.
I have heard several times, “you should stay open later.” We tried that on Fridays and Saturdays, and there were days I had staff sitting here waiting for customers who never came. As much as I want to be available for everyone, I also have to make decisions that make sense for my family and for the business.
I truly thought summer would be busy because it was too hot to play outside, but unfortunately, I was wrong. I’ve questioned myself a lot over the last two months and wondered if staying open is even worth it, but I’m not ready to lose hope yet. I poured my savings, time, and heart into this business.
For now, we will continue offering reservations during the hours I am not available to be there in person. If business picks up, staffed hours may absolutely be adjusted.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us, booked with us, shared our posts, brought your kids to play, or encouraged me along the way. It means more than you know.
