LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) -- Two post offices in Tippecanoe county are staying open an extra day a week until Christmas. The Lafayette Post Office on east South Street and the West Lafayette office on Navajo Street are opening on Sunday, December 13th and 20th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lafayette Post Master Larry Chandler believes having those extra days will give people more opportunity to get gifts sent out.
