From day one, we wanted to create a full experience. Inspired by the timeless courtyards of Italy, every detail was designed with weddings, celebrations, and guest experience in mind.

Our newest landscaping features towering juniper trees that will eventually grow 15–20 feet tall, creating a beautiful backdrop for ceremonies and receptions. White flowering shrubs add softness and a pop of color for photos, while our evergreen artificial turf ensures the courtyard stays lush, green, and picture-perfect year-round. 🙌

No muddy grass. No brown patches. No worrying about the weather. Just a beautiful courtyard ready for your celebration no matter the season.

Designed to accommodate ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, tented events, and everything in between, this space is quickly becoming one of our favorite parts of The Wilyard.

Rain or shine, the progress keeps moving forward.

We’re officially in the final stretch of transforming this historic chapel into a wedding and event venue.

This week brought landscaping for our chateau-inspired courtyard, art pieces, furniture, and the arrival of our gold Chiavari chairs and reception tables, all included with every venue rental.

After months of renovations and bringing this historic space back to life… we are officially inviting you inside The Wilyard for the very first time.

Join us for the Grand Opening Celebration of The Wilyard in partnership with the Lafayette Mayor-President’s Office on Sunday, July 5th from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

This will be your chance to fully experience the venue in person, explore the spaces, envision your future wedding day or event here, and celebrate the restoration of one of Lafayette’s most unique historic venues with us.
