Some girls get books for their birthday. Grace got books AND a fiancé! 😂📚💍

Jacob planned a birthday full of Grace’s favorite things, complete with coffee, a bookstore, and a few new reads. But the biggest plot twist? A surprise birthday party with a PROPOSAL tucked inside!

Fast-forward to their engagement session at Hotel Bentley, where these two will also be saying their “I do’s!” Between their playful chemistry, sweet little moments, and love for vintage architecture, this session felt so perfectly THEM.

Grace + Jacob, we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you two! 🤍

We photographed Kaylee’s senior session years ago, so getting to have her back in front of our camera while she and Ronnie get ready to welcome their first little bb was a seriously sweet full-circle moment 🥹

And then the ducks entered the chat 😂🦆

Ronnie Jr.’s nursery is mallard-themed, and apparently the local duck committee got the mood board because they showed up at the pond, welcomed us in, and casually hung around long enough to photoBOMB. You cannot convince us that wasn’t the universe giving this session a tiny little high five 🙌

💀🕸️ AHNVEE SPOOKY SEASON HAS ENTERED THE CHAT 🕸️💀

And if you’ve been here a while, you already know October gives us entirely too much permission to behave creatively 😈

🩸 Fake blood? Obviously. 🌫️ Fog machine? Plug her in. 🧟‍♀️ Elaborate characters? Say less.

👀 An idea that starts with “okay, this is going to sound completely unhinged but...”? OUR FAVORITE KIND.

So we dug through years of Ahnvee weirdness and packed some of our favorite creepy, cinematic, witchy, bloody, bizarre, and beautifully WTF creations into one carousel.

No two alike...because the fun has never been making “Halloween pictures.” It’s figuring out what kind of strange lives in YOUR head and bringing that sucker to life 👻

Aaaaand..senior season just hit START 🕹️💖

Amelia wanted artsy + creative with plenty of her cutecore personality, so naturally we ended up surrounded by neon claw machines, bows, bracelets, and enough cuteness to win the whole arcade ☺️

And THIS is exactly how we want to start senior season. Bring us the things you actually love. The weird little details. The style. The vibes. The whole YOU of it all 👾

Apparently, people have been talking...so we figured we should let them have the floor 👀

We could tell you what the Ahnvee experience is like all day...but they say it better. So yeah...we brought receipts 😌

Our wedding couples talk about feeling taken care of, laughing through the day, and having someone willing to jump in wherever needed 💪

Our senior parents keep coming back to how personal everything felt, how comfortable their seniors were, and getting photos back that made them go, “Yep. That’s my kid.” Senior photos with the correct aura 🎓✨

Our bo***ir clients talk about feeling comfortable, guided, cared for, and way more relaxed in front of the camera than they expected 💃

And our portrait, branding, maternity, and creative clients? They talk about feeling listened to, having their ideas understood, and then watching us take those ideas for a little creative joyride while we go mildly feral chasing THE shot 😂

Different people. Different stories. Same little thread running through all of it: feeling seen, understood, cared for, and ending up with photographs that still feel unmistakably like you ☺️
