Little homemade blueberry “poptarts” - these were easy and so tasty! Cookie cutters, any fruit jam, refrigerated pie crust and baked for 10-12 min at 415 glaze was made with powered sugar (1/4 cup) and about 2 tsp cream(replace with milk or water ) add 2tsp jam to flavor if desired (as I did). The glaze isn’t rocket science- if it’s too thin, add more sugar-too thick add liquid! Add the glaze after they’ve cooled slightly.

Our Backyard BBQ Cook-off is back! You won't want to miss this year's Backyard BBQ Cookoff, sponsored by Mental Health America - Wabash Valley region!

The competition is open to anyone. There is a limit of 4 people per team. You may enter just one or all categories, however you must be entered in all 4 categories to be considered for Grand Champion.

Distributed Meat:
🔥Build a HogBurger ® - Four 1/3-pound pork burgers. (Cook/ dress them any way you like. Category will contribute to overall points)
🔥Pork Ribs- Two slabs of St. Louis style ribs
🔥Pork Butt- One whole pork butt)
🔥Open- 1 pound of Indiana Kitchen Bacon (Open category must utilize Indiana Kitchen Bacon as well as the provided Shoup’s seasoning and/or Shoup’s BBQ sauce.)
🔥Meat for Samples – TBA. (Cook this for however you like, it is to be passed out as samples to Bacon Fest
patrons.)

🏆Category winners – 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place- Trophy
🏆💵Overall Grand Champion - $100.00 Cash & Trophy
🏆💵Overall Reserve Grand Champion - $50.00 Cash & Trophy
🏆Showmanship – 1st Place Trophy and 2nd Place Trophy
