Cornbread, Cush Cush & Conversation!
A beautiful vision brought to life by Tosha White was held today at noon at the DCC Downtown Convention Center Lafayette La—and what a powerful gathering it was!

Our guest speaker, Mrs. Jessica, touched our hearts deeply as she shared the story of her beloved son Nick (may he rest in peace). Her testimony was raw, moving, and full of strength. It connected with another mother in the room who had experienced a similar journey, bringing healing and hope in the most unexpected way.

Mrs. Jessica Dugar reminded us that through life’s hardest moments, we can still find peace—by giving it to God, praying, and putting love into the meals we cook, whether it’s Cornbread, Cush Cush, or any dish that feeds our soul.

Many spirits were lifted. Many hearts were encouraged.

Special shoutout to our guest with the fancy bowl and spoon—what a fun moment!

A heartfelt prayer was led by Linda Peters, and we were grateful for the time to introduce ourselves, share stories, and form new friendships. It truly felt like family.
