It's been a nice winter solstice at the farm, but we are ready to see those green rolling farm hills again.

They're truly my favorite scenery for an Iowa wedding.

We love a good Before & After❤️
& Good news:

Last year's construction was fun, and chaotic, and challenging with so many people working on projects at the same time, but it worked out and we are thrilled with what has come from it.

A few small projects are up next including a railing, and a few finishing touches, but the big news is in regards to the space at the top of these stairs.

Now for the good news! We have a bridal suite with a private bathroom for the party located on the main level. Above that we currently have storage space we plan to turn into a groomsmen lounge, but it's not huge. Maybe it doesn't need to be, but we will be speaking with an engineer soon regarding that space to hopefully allow even more room!

In my experience, weddings seem focused on the bride's dream wedding, but the groom gets a say too right?

Our last groom had one ask. So the couple utilized our lean-to as a cigar bar for the men, or whoever wanted to join. So fun!
