As I am working on floorplans for a client, and getting increasingly frustrated that I have to google translate German words to create them, I thought let me take a break and check in!

I have been working with Brickfest for over a year now! Brickfest Live is a touring LEGO convention. For each city, I asses the venue before creating what will be the layout and floorplan, ensuring an optimal flow and an awesome experience for the guests!

Now Brickfest is starting in Europe and I am currently creating the layouts for the German cities (hence the googling)

These pics are from when I took my son, husband and nephew to Des Moines to play around in Legos and see how my floorplans come to life. 🫶

As I wrap up my last onsite event of the year and head back to Omaha from Grand Island, I wanted to take time to reflect on my year!

I've honed my expertise in logistical and operational event planning, continually expanding my skillset with each event. This year, I've successfully collaborated with both national and international clients, enhancing my capabilities further!

Some industries I worked with include:

Pharmaceuticals
TV Marketing
Conventions
Education
Security

As well as social events: weddings, nonprofit galas and showers.

I primarily operate remotely but travel onsite as required. Reaching 2 years in my business, I'm enthusiastic about the upcoming events and opportunities that lie ahead!

On a personal note, it has been my goal to do what I love without sacrificing life and memories with my family. Grinding in this industry, it has been a battle at times and although it will never be truly balanced, that’s just the nature of event life, I am about as close as I can be and I don’t take that for granted. 🤍

THANK YOU for all those who have supported me, you truly don’t know how much it means to me. Quick thank you to for being the best, and showing how I absolutely Do Not look like working remotely from home 😆(I’m definitely in sweatpants)

Jasmine Events is truly focused on event planning and consulting. From collaborating with other event producers on large scale events to planning logistics on national convention tours- we are pushing to continually learn every bit of the event industry there is. This map represents the places I’ve planned events for this year!

Many of you may have found me because of my BALLOON decor and I am still very much passionate about how creative you can get with fabulous balloon backdrops. And that is why I created Parties and Pop where its all about the balloons!

Through both businesses, we are here to produce one of a kind events!

This was such a fun backdrop to design! This was for a half saree ceremony, which is a traditional Indian event. The theme was breaking free and my client wanted to use bird cages so I ran with that and created this design. 🕊️ 🦋🌼

Would you like to not stress about getting all of your decor set up in those 30 min-1 hour set time frames?

Let me take care of that for you! We provided all of the decor for this shower which included the backdrop, balloons, teddy bear centerpieces, and floral arrangements.

My client could then focus on the food, which if you wanted a completely hands off planning experience I would be happy to coordinate that too! 🤍

Happy Monday! Welcome to the 1st of 3 part series of the services and skillset I offer through Jasmine Events! First and foremost, my foundation of expertise is planning and production.

Planning an event can include, but not limited to the following responsibilities

Sourcing and selecting vendors
Décor and design planning
Menu planning
Budget planning
Vendor visits
Design of floorplan and layout
Itinerary planning
Communication with all vendors
Timeline creation
Booking talent

Production means executing the event with the all of the nitty gritty details previously planned!
This means being onsite from set-up to live event to the final tear-down and overseeing every part of it.

Most people may know or follow me because of my balloon designs (which will be the 2nd part of the series). And it’s what I ‘lead’ with last year to start my business because I did want to showcase that creative side of me! But most of my business is on the backend planning things out!

Currently, I’m contracted with a national tour to plan logistics and vendor source and I just had an initial call with a UK business to oversee production for a national conference. Really exciting opportunities!

There are exciting things that happen with planning and logistics, just not the most exciting images for IG or FB 😋
