There are birthday decorations… and then there are birthday legends. 👑🚢

For Fran’s 60th birthday cruise, I transformed his cabin door into a tribute to the man, the myth, the legend. 😆

Each custom magnet celebrates one of his many “accomplishments” - every one is absolutely, completely, totally true… in his own mind. 😂. Together, they turned an ordinary cruise door into the perfect welcome home for our Captain.

I had way too much fun creating these, and seeing the finished door come together made every minute worth it! ⚓🏆

What started as “I have an idea…” somehow turned into an entire cruise adventure. 😂🚢

For my friend’s 60th birthday, I designed a custom scavenger hunt deck with 60 unique challenges spread across themed categories - from meeting strangers and trying new drinks to cruise-specific adventures and hilarious “questionable decisions.”

Every card was designed (featuring caricatures of the bday boy!), printed, laminated, cut, and assembled by hand to create a one-of-a-kind birthday experience. Add in a custom trophy, sash, and cabin door decorations, and this celebration officially reached “extra” status… exactly as planned. 😆🏆

Now the only question is… can he actually complete the whole deck?
