Leaving as a reminder that on the bleakest of days, with a sprinkle of seasonal depression, that there are warmer, sunnier days to come. Soon the snow will melt, and the seeds I've sewn will come to fruition. I don't believe in vermin truly predicting the weather, but I do believe in the farmers before me; "we're told we cannot grow in winter soil- that the cold and the dark are barren, that life halts here. But both are needed, as is the journey between the seasons".

Take the time to nurture yourself and those around you. Small acts of kindness go a long way on days like these. Spring, I'm ready. ❇️🌱

Hi, hello! Spring season is upon us, which means it's time for CSA sign up! Pick up and delivery will be available every Friday between 10am-4pm. You are always welcome to swing out to the farm to pick up, just please arrange beforehand. If you show up unannounced I'll put you to work! (Kidding, kind of). I have added eggs by the dozen onto my website, however they are no longer available for single delivery. You may pick up from the farm, or add to an existing order. I am in the works of adding a pick up location in the Highlands, please stay tuned for updates on that. I will also be adding a self box build on my site where you'll be able to view weekly inventory and build your own CSA box according to market pricing, this is still in the works and once built I'll post a how-to. I'm so excited for this season with you all and look forward to growing for you! 🌱🌼

The best fertilizer there is. It's taken a few years to get there, but boy oh boy is she thriving! I use compost for seeding, mulching, and everything in between. If you're new to composting or it's something you've thought about doing, just know it's so simple and so beneficial! I use an old cheez-it bucket with a lid and a turn style compost pin. I put everything except for (meat) in there and let mother earth work her magic. 🌱♻️
