She’s almost here. Peony season on the farm is equal parts joy and chaos — the most beautiful, fluffy blooms with constant work, and a season that seems to end just as it is beginning. She’s my favorite, ladies.

I just cannot wait. And I cannot wait to share her with you.

I love this story. (1/2)

Exactly one year before her wedding, along with her mother and future mother-in-love, Amy visited our boutique flower farm.

It was a beautiful August morning, and I was busy harvesting to beat the sun and heat, preparing for the weekend flower market.

With a bucket in hand, we traveled between gardens collecting the elements and color palette of her wedding flowers. Both moms adding flowers to add to the bouquet that would form the foundation of her wedding flowers. After we exhausted all of the possibilities, there was a beautiful moment when Amy and her moms realized that she had picked gorgeous wedding flowers and a beautiful palette. “These are your wedding flowers, Amy”. At that moment, we all knew she was going to have a beautiful wedding day. It was also a moment of, “our babies are getting married”. You know that moment when things start to feel “real”? We shed a few tears, took a few pictures and I sent them on their way.
