From the Desk of Towanda Green, Dana-Howard-Weekley American Legion Post 130 Historian: I apologize for the late posting of our Veteran’s Day Celebration at Veterans Memorial Park. This was such a beautiful ceremony with all of our local Veterans Organizations being represented in unity. We had several prayers of thanksgiving, love, hope, peace, and perseverance for those who have served. And for those who are serving. Let us not forget those that have served and are no longer with us.🙏🏾 We closed our mouths and opened our hearts. We gave ear to the call of gratitude. For it is only then that we truly begin to understand just how precious life really is…and just how finite our lives are in this physical body. Love those you say you love. Cherish them and hold them close. So that if tomorrow never comes, they will know how you feel❣️
