My name is Natasha Valles, and I am the proud owner of GiJaBell’s Bridal & Evening Wear Boutique. GiJaBell’s was a concept that was placed in my heart since 2013. I became pregnant with our last child in 2014 and I decided to put my dream on hold a little longer and I waited until our only son was in school full-time. I also have three beautiful daughters (older than our son) whom are all very different in personality and taste when it comes to dressing up for a special occasion. My oldest was previously involved in pageants and modeling, which initiated the thought and concept, as we were having to purchase numerous gowns and attire for these events. This got VERY expensive. We also gave her a very elaborate Quinceanera (Sweet 15 Celebration) and I realized this particular area had a need in the market for evening wear and formal gowns/dresses.
The name “GiJaBell’s” is a very unique name and you may be wondering “Why this name?” and “How did she come up with it?”. Well, again, I am a mother who lives for my children, all four of them; and my ultimate goal for them is to leave them with a legacy that they can be proud of. This boutique is my heartbeat and my daughters are my muse. They are a huge part of my purpose in life and I thought how can I honor them? So I named the boutique after them. My daughter’s names are Geneva, Jadora, and Isabella, hence “Gi-Ja-Bell’s”!
Each of my daughter’s are unique in their individual style and I took that into consideration as well when establishing my inventory. I understand there is different wants and needs when it comes to each event and each individual. I will strive to provide a dress for every individual and every occasion as best as I can.
In addition to the need for the market, I also knew I wanted to help other people who have a limited budget. Having a large family myself, I understand the need to recycle, reuse and repurpose! Having the knowledge that most evening attire/formal wear, including wedding dresses, are usually used once, then kept in the back of the closet collecting dust after spending a good penny on it is the reason why I felt the need to make having beautiful selections for EVERY budget readily available. I not only will be retailing bridal gowns and evening wear at an affordable cost but I also will be extending an option to Rent-The-Look for a fraction of the cost! This makes looking and feeling beautiful for your next event that much more attainable and affordable!
