Behind the Scenes of a Grand Reveal ✨

Oftentimes we’re asked to create a special effect for a reveal—whether it’s a sign, a dedication, or a grand opening. Recently, we had the honor of designing one for the dedication of the new Poplar & Beacon Halls at UT.

When spelling words on a 2-sided moving wall, it takes a special “recipe” to make it work—because of the mirror effect, it’s much harder than it looks!

This one turned out beautifully:

🏠 The phrase “Home Sweet Home” created a perfect backdrop for the Chancellor’s speech.

💡 Then, with help from UT students, the wall opened in the center to reveal a glowing Power T on the back—welcoming guests inside.

A reveal that was both powerful and memorable. 🧡🤍

It was my distinct joy and pleasure to travel to a sweet small rural town, Delphos, Ohio, to be with a fellow balloon friend who mother and business partner passed suddenly, Myself and another balloon artist from Florida, Joette, helped our friend Tammy run her store and helped decorate for her Mom's Celebration of Life. Our arrival was a complete surprise for Tammy and the few days were filled with memories, tears, hugs, smiles, and lots of delicious Ohio corn, fresh picked from the corn fields.

Truly a blessing.
