It’s the first day of Spring, which means it’s , which totally makes sense since the weather is warming up, the flowers are blooming, and the love is definitely in the air! A little tip: make sure that you get your rings inspected every 6 months to ensure that the stones don’t fall out and stays sparkling!

Want to know a great way to make every photo looks gorgeous and it’s free?! I’m talking about flowers for my Tuesday tip! 💐 This simple tip I tell every bridesmaid and bride right before they walk down the aisle! When you’ve got your bouquet, place it right at your belly button! It seems simple but you’d be surprised how often I see gorgeous brides get lost in the photos because their flowers are too close to their face! I have met so many wonderful brides this past month and there are so many new faces that I thought I would do a ! I’m Teresa Faircloth and I am the owner of Southern Elegance Weddings! I am not the typical wedding planner who just hands out timelines and makes sure you go down the aisle. I’m the running to the grocery store to grab an extra cake, scour the house for decor that compliments your wedding, go big or go home with my couples, always looking out for those precious moments kind of planner. I married my high school sweetheart almost 8 years ago and I’ve got two amazing boys who keep me on my toes! I started my business almost 5 years ago, and I am blown away by how much it’s grown! Happy Thanksgiving!! I have so many wonderful things to be thankful for! Between welcoming our newest son into the world (who’s about to be 9 months!!) getting to spend more time with my family, watching my business grow, and getting to celebrate love and marriage with some of the most amazing couples; I cannot begin to express my gratitude for 2021 and for you! I truly could not have done this without your love and support! Hope everyone has a chance to be surrounded by those that they love and have safe travels!

Real moment: I don’t like posting my own photos (mainly because the photographer’s are soooo amazing) but I had to share this one from and wedding at .. Y’all, I will get a misty eyed at little moments (who wouldn’t? I love watching two people in love) but it’s takes a powerful moment for me to legit cry. When this couple decided in the middle of their ceremony to have a moment of worship, it brings tears to my eyes thinking about it. From the start of the day, you could feel the love they that they have for each other and for God. And that will always be a beautiful moment! Congratulations Alli and Justin, may the love you have for each other and for the Lord grow stronger every day ❤️

I’m baaaack! Did you miss me, because I have certainly missed y’all! There are soo many reasons why I haven’t been as present on social media. For one, I became a mom of now 2 boys and trying to become adjusted to that has not always been easy. I’ve been exhausted, mentally, physically, and emotionally. So I decided to take a step back for a while so that I can focus on my mental health and be more present for my family. But I never forgot about y’all and I certainly haven’t stopped planning weddings! I’m in the process of changing a lot of things in my business so stay tuned to see some amazing things happening! For all of my clients and friends, thank you for hanging in there with me and being the amazing people that you are!!

The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm keeps growing!!

We are excited to announce that we are hiring! We are in need of part-time event coordinator(s) & a weekend sales specialist.

Part-Time Event Coordinator:
Are you very "type-A"? Do you love to take charge? Our event coordinator position will be perfect for you! Our event coordinators are responsible for managing ceremony rehearsals + wedding ceremonies and receptions as well as many other events and parties! The candidate should be extremely outgoing, quick on their toes, not afraid to take charge of a situation, organized, able to juggle multiple tasks at a time and be available on nights and weekends. This position is part-time. ALL nights and weekends are not a requirement, just most! We do work around other work/school schedules that you might have.

Weekend Sales Specialist:
The weekend sales specialist would ideally be available most weekends (any weekend that we have events...some weekends would require Saturday-Sunday, some just a Saturday or just a Sunday). We are looking for a friendly and personable candidate to facilitate venue tours, set up for weddings & events (set out wedding favors, signage, arbor fabric, etc.), and assist our event coordinator in getting the bride down the aisle before leaving for the night. Our weekend sales specialist is not required to stay and work the event, but rather make sure the event is set and ready to go according to how the client wants. This candidate should have the same skills as the event coordinator position listed above.
