Cara + Barrett’s day was one for the books. From the quiet moments to the wild celebration at the end, it was nonstop magic!

Cara looked like absolute royalty floating down that staircase at the family home before stepping into a stained-glass sanctuary full of their favorite people. The joy on their faces walking out as husband + wife said it all.

Between the laughter with their bridal party, the sweetest portraits, and every detail in between, this day couldn’t have been more perfect. And their grand finale? Let’s just say they went out with a splash

All I could hear in my head was “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey from The Great Gatsby soundtrack as we wandered the Biltmore House grounds, capturing the love between Callie & Preston. Can you imagine calling that place home? Every time I return, I’m in awe all over again 😍

Emily and Owen’s day at was nothing short of magical 🤍 From the sweetest first looks with dad and grandma to the most packed dance floor I’ve ever seen, every moment was filled with so much love, laughter, and happy tears. It was one of those weddings where you could just feel how loved these two are and I’m so grateful I got to be the one to capture it all.

✨ Meet Me Monday ✨
Hey, I’m Mariah! I’m a Knoxville-based wedding photographer, proud wife, and mama to our sweet 8-month-old baby girl, Adeline.

I’m 29 and when I’m not capturing love stories, I’m at home with our little zoo. We have two Boston Terriers, Frank and George, who we lovingly call “piggies” because they look and sound just like pigs. We also have three cats: Bruce (our chunky boy), Baby (who seriously thinks she’s a dog), and Selina (our shy, sweet little stray who completely stole our hearts).

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been shooting weddings full time since 2020. My previous job before shooting weddings was a local TV news reporter and while that was fun, it certainly was not my calling! There’s just something so special about freezing those real, emotional moments that couples will treasure forever. In the next photo you’ll likely also get to meet and hang out with one of my talented second shooters, Veronica! We’ve been working together for a little over 4 1/2 years now and honestly, I don’t know what I would do without her. She is such an amazing and talented photographer, not to mention an amazing friend that I can truly count on to help me run my business as smoothly as it does & of course there are other wonderful people in this industry that I get to also call my friends and colleagues, even though we all have our own businesses to run we strive to encourage and motivate each other, and I am so grateful for all of the photographers & vendors I get to call my friends!

When I’m not editing during nap time or spending time with my family, I enjoy volunteering by taking photos of adoptable animals at Young Williams Animal Center ( ) to help them find their forever homes.

My full time job is a reporter for a local news station, but I have hobbies outside of work, this being one of them.
