A hard goodbye⦠and a hopeful hello.
This is one of the hardest things weāve ever had to share.
This Sunday, August 16, will be the last day of service at Intrepid Nitroās Bearden location.
Weāre not going to pretend this is easy. Our hearts are incredibly sad.
Bearden has been so much more than a coffee shop. It has been a place where friendships were formed, celebrations happened, hard conversations were had, prayers were prayed, businesses were dreamed up, and countless cups of coffee, tea, and cocktails were shared.
We know this news will come as a shock to many of you. There are many factors that have brought us to this decision, and while we arenāt going to unpack all of them here, please know that this was not a decision we made lightly.
But sometimes, growth requires pruning.
Even good things sometimes have to be released to make room for what can be more fruitful.
We are actively looking for a new home for Intrepid in the Bearden area. So while we are closing this chapter, we are not closing the book.
We believe there is still so much ahead for Intrepid. We believe in what weāve created, in the community that has gathered around it, and in the vision we have for what it can become.
For now, though, we want to simply say THANK YOU.
Thank you for every visit. Every conversation. Every drink. Every laugh. Every friend you brought through the door. Thank you for believing in us and making Intrepid part of your lives.
If Bearden has meant something to you, come see us this weekend. Letās fill that place with all the love, memories, and gratitude it deserves.
And one more important thing: Intrepid isnāt going anywhere!
Our Hardin Valley location is open, growing, and we would absolutely love to see you there. If you havenāt been yet, come find us! Weāre continuing to build, dream, grow, and create the kind of place we believe Intrepid can be.
So while we say goodbye to Bearden for now, Hardin Valley is still hereāand weāre excited about whatās ahead.
Sunday isnāt just goodbye.
Itās thank you.
And itās see you again.
We are eternally grateful for you.
