As I put flowers at the Dolly statue tonight, I cried.. like literally big tears!

Not because she was just Dolly Parton, country singer, famous, philanthropist, someone who had been in the spotlight her whole life, or just because she was an amazing woman.

She was all those things!

But if you live in East Tennessee, the Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Alcoa, Knoxville area… You know what she did for the people that live here. For her people! She was born and raised here. She started imagination library because of the literacy issue in this area. When the Gatlinburg fires came through, she paid the bills for those people. Dollywood has provided endless jobs for people in this area. Her family grew up and lstill live in this town. You can see her sister walk around this town. This woman loved the people where she was born and raised! I’ve never seen such a human being give to a community!

There’s not just one label that fits this woman! For all that she was & for all that she gave .. for the lovely woman you were.. we will miss you and always love you here in East Tennessee!

As a Vendor in East Tennessee, it’s just really hard to even make a post right now! There will never be another Dolly! Our prayers go out to her family and friends, and all of us here in East Tennessee, Tennessee itself, and the world. There is no other lady like Dolly. We love you, Dolly.

Sometimes as a vendor, you realize that we are actually just still human and not untouchable! Although I can’t name any names, I am asking for every person out there that is on my page to raise a glass, say a prayer or give a good vibe to a fellow vendor of mine that can really use it right now!

It was a beautiful wedding this past weekend at Mountain Mist Wedding Venue! Congratulations to Skylar and Braedon! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.

We are excited to have two weddings today.

One at Mountain Mist Wedding Venue in pigeon Forge, where my husband and co-owner Charles and my lead coordinator, Katherine will be doing everything, and then we are in Springhill, Tennessee at the beautiful Allenbrook Farm!
