Friday April 25th we welcome the royal court of Southern America Newcomer to South Press Cafe, honoring their reign and service to the community in 2024. We also gather to celebrate q***r artists in Miss, Mr, & Mx divisions and add three new monarchs to the legacy. These folks have had a long, hard road to competing Friday night. Please come out & support them! We really want to fill the space with as much support as we can. To cheer on these folks who have put so much work into their pageant prep.
It is going to be so fierce! Support the newcomers.
The pageant will begin at 6pm.

As we previously reported, professional skateboarder Evan Smith mentioned that running a skate brand while also being a pro skater isn’t realistic.

But LGBTQIA+ pro skater Leo Baker is proving that it’s not only possible. It’s happening. He is not backing down and is showing the world that q***r skateboarders can do it too. On their own terms.

We had an amazing turn out for last week's beginner gardening class! We are excited to offer a more hand's on class this coming Monday 4.28 from 10am-12pm. Come by the Knox Pride Community & Resource Center to do some learning and help in the community garden! We hope to see you here!

✨ IMPORTANT PARKING INFO ✨

We are so excited for the Knox AAPI Night Market taking place Friday, April 25 from 6-9 p.m. at 🥳

Get ready for some delicious food and amazing craft vendors 😁

We are very fortunate to partner with Hi-Wire for our venue. They let us host this event there for free! So, while parking on Sevier Avenue can be somewhat of a challenge, we have partnered with local businesses who will be closed during our Night Market and they are allowing our guests to use their lots during our event.

We suggest parking at these locations (see graphic).

We have listed the distance from these lots to Hi-Wire. Please plan accordingly. We highly suggest carpooling!!!

Please do not take the parking of Sevier Avenue businesses that are open during the market. We want to be good neighbors and not take away from their customers trying to park!

Tips:

-Come early!!
-Grab dishes from each vendor. Come hungry b/c we have a lot of vendors with delicious food!!
-Shop our amazing craft vendors 😁
-Try something new! We have a diverse range of foods and goods.
-Have fun and support local!!

As always, we appreciate your patience. We are only two people organizing this large event and we are doing our best to accommodate everyone's needs.

We are excited to announce our fundraiser at Fiori Bar & Lounge hosted & put together by Mx Knox Pride 365! 2024 Sweet T !!!!

Join us Sunday May 11th from 5pm-9pm for a fun evening at an amazing venue.

Tickets are $40 per person and include a glass of champagne and access to grazing tables! There will also be a cash bar for other amazing cocktails! All proceeds go to Knox Pride!
